CHRISTIAN LEARNING ACADEMY
The Christian Learning Academy chorus ensemble has performed at the Art and Foliage Festival since 2017, and is appearing this year under the direction of CLA alumna Seranie Jean-Baptiste. CLA is a private K-12 school right here in Apopka with small class sizes as well as individualized instruction. They also offer extracurricular activities, including girls volleyball, championship-winning girls and boys basketball teams, golf, cross country, music, theater, and more. LAKEVILLE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Lakeville Elementary School is known as the Engineers due to having its own Railroad Museum in its school. Principal is Charles Jackson and the performers are known as The Lakeville Singing Engineers who are being led and taught by Carla Maxwell who has 30 years teaching.


Wolf Lake Middle SCHOOL
Wolf Lake Middle School Chorus is made up of 234 students from grades 6-8. The top ensembles, Singers and Mixed Ensemble, participate in Music Performance Assessment, consistently earning "Superior" scores. The other ensembles feature a Beginning All-Girls Treble Choir and a Beginning All-Boys 6th grade choir. They are directed by Halle Hoskins, (BME, Florida State University, 2017.) Come see their Spring Concert: "ICONIC" on May 5 at the Apopka Amphitheatre with songs by Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, and more.
Pink Diamondettes
Under the direction of coach Mercedez Wood, who is dedicated to providing a supportive environment where dancers thrive through high-quality instruction and personal growth, the Pink Diamondettes are trained in several kinds of dance. Our vision is to inspire and uplift young girls through the transformative power of dance, fostering a community where they can express themselves, build confidence, and realize their full potential. pinkdiamondettes@gmail.com


KIDZ DANCE
The KidzDance performance team is an energetic group of 12 dancers who began their journey together in August 2025 and have been dancing, learning, and growing as a team ever since. Their rehearsals are filled with hard work, teamwork, and plenty of fun as they prepare for performances throughout the season. They are thrilled to perform at the Foliage Festival and share their love of dance with the community.
Wolf Lake ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Wolf Lake Elementary is an Orange County Public School located in Northern Apopka. Music Club is the performing ensemble of the school featuring 4th and 5th grade students. We focus on singing songs, ukulele playing, as well as solo opportunities on a variety of instruments or voice. The students perform at various venues throughout the year including on Wolf Lake Elementary campus, Orlando Magic games, and Kit Land Nelson Park. We are so excited to share our music with you!


ZELLWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHORUS
The Zellwood Elementary Chorus is a vibrant group of young performers dedicated to developing their vocal talents and love for music. Through practice and collaboration, these students build confidence, strengthen their singing skills, and create meaningful connections with one another. The chorus regularly performs at school events, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every stage. Their passion for music and strong sense of community make them a wonderful addition to this year’s Apopka Art & Foliage Festival entertainment lineup.
THE DREAM CREEK BAND
The Dream Creek Band consists of six seasoned musicians who are long-time residents of Central Florida and have a fondness for the rich variety and innovation of classic rock music.

• Eileen Gorrell (Keyboard), works for AdventHealth, lives in Ocoee with her husband Doug, is a graduate of Indiana University, has two daughters and recently became a grandmother.
• Myrna Whiting (Vocals) lives in Apopka with her husband John, graduated from UF and is a CMA at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute.
• Leah Hall (Vocals) lives in Mount Dora, has two sons, and works in the Behavioral Health industry.
• Jesse Burkey (bass) lives in Altamonte Springs with his wife Rachel and two rambunctious young boys, and is an electrician for the City of Altamonte Springs.
• David Henderson (guitar/vocals) lives in Altamonte Springs with his wife Jayne, has three adult daughters, is a UCF graduate and recently retired from the software industry.
• Ray Boyles (percussion/vocals) lives in Casselberry, has four adult sons, is a proud grandfather, graduated from UCF and is a Lead Systems Engineer for Serious Simulations.
